| Hey there. I'm Eric Lastname from Eloy, AZ. Lived in AZ my whole life and now I've been living here in Huntington Beach for about four months and no stranger to CA. I've been coming and going to CA majority of my life. With marching band(yes, I'm a band geek) and booking show for CA band in AZ. As well did a touring with my friends in a band called Es Caro Vivir(ECV) in summer of '09. I am a local promotor in AZ. I like to keep continuing booking bands here. I just don't know where to start off at.
My friend Martin and I back in AZ use to book a lot of ska and hardcore punk band in Pinal County and all over AZ. From Flagstaff to Tucson. We still talk to each other to keep booking in AZ. Hopefully get some good AZ/HC to CA Because there are a lot of good AZ/HC out there now!

I know... I know. This is a CA punk music forum. More narrowed down to O.C. punk/hardcore music forum. However, We are not that far apart. from each other. I like to make a unity between us, if not. Make it stronger. Make a channel going back and forth to AZ and back here to CA. Any band going to do a tour? I know many many people in AZ and some out of state venues as well. I like to do the same for my AZ locals and book some of them here so you can get more of that hardcore/ska/punk/crust/surf.... and yes. We do have surf.
I'm glad to say that I've been taking into with open arms by my friends. And I've been meet great new people.
Let's talk. I like to meet you!

| Hey dude, welcome to Orange County!
I know Griffin from Negative Feedback and I met the singer of Truancy when my band played in Tucson. There are a lot of awesome people in Tucson. The best person to talk to about booking shows would probably be Danny, he posts on here. Hope to see you at some shows! |

| Griffin from Negative Feedback is cool. I love that kid. And Little Jakob(13 years old?) from Truancy is great. Heart of a true young punk. No other AZ/HC like the Tucson scene. Fuckin Cactus Punx!!!!!!!!!!! I like to bring home to the OC. Only way to do so is with my locals. I miss them a lot and just very home sick. I need to get back in the booking game and see what I can do. Plus, I'm also contributor to the local zine in AZ called AZ KAOS zine. I report on the local scene from where I'm from "P.C.P."(Pinal County Punks) to make our name heard. As well helping touring band that past by. Food, gas, place to sleep, and cool places to see. We helped bands such as Forty Lashes from MI, This Is A Stick Up from NY, the Skuds from GA, Los Arambula from LA.... I mean the list goes on. I feel like I can do and help out a lot here. However... I'm working too much. I transfer out here and it's just too busy and get crappy days off(Sun and Mon). But got to live, you know? I think starting here is a good move on my part. Plus, I did find the "We'll Make the Difference" newsletter. I like to write to that as well. I just love to help out with the local scene. Writing about it, booking it, seeing it, even just taking the money at the door for the venue. I'll do so. I use to do it at many places in Phoenix and Flagstaff. Honestly, I'm surprised there's no info shops out here(beside the Che Cafe.... which is a ways way from here.) |
